We will LOVE our neighbours, LEAD them to Christ, and GROW them spiritually. They will then GO back to their neighbours.
As we worship God our Creator, we endevour to grow in our experience with a spirit in unity and be a light of God's truth to others.
What does it mean to be Christ centered? It means that all that we do is centred around Christ's life and teachings. What is grace empowered? Some people think the word “grace” refers to a prayer prior to your meal. This word is filled with deep meaning and power. To be grace empowered means to live as God wants us to by His Spirit and have an abundance of generosity towards others. At Fairfield Adventist Church, it means that no matter what background or nationality you are or what your past looks like, we are going to accept you because Jesus did the same for us. A church is a hospital for those who are spiritually ill. It is our goal to see you living a healthy life that brings honour to God. Then you too can be a witness of God to others.
At Fairfield Adventist Church we are committed to honouring God through the reading of His Word and songs of praise . We are open to hearing and experiencing the power of God's presence through the ministry of practical Bible teachings. We acknowledge God's sovereignty over our lives and invite Him into our hearts through prayer, praise and exaltation.
Understanding the vitality of spiritual growth within the church, we actively encourage our members and friends to grow in their personal relationship with Christ through prayer, the study of God's Word and making four basic commitments:
* Commitment to Christ and Membership in the Body of Christ
* Commitment to Maturity in Christ.
* Commitment to a Ministry with Christ
* Commitment to Missions for Christ
Saturday morning small groups classes and prayer meetings provide opportunities for people of all ages to interact and grow spiritually, sharing challenges and asking questions that lead to a deeper understanding of Christ and His plan for our lives. Philippians 3:14
As culturally diverse church, we have many people from different backgrounds and languages under the banner of Christ. Today we desire to be united in Christ for the purpose of reaching people of different nationalities, languages and help them understand the biblical message for our time (Revelation 14:6-12). Because we are solemnly committed to reaching our surrounding community with the good news of the gospel, we will do everything to receive people into the family of God.
Being continually prepared through our experience of discipleship, nurture and evangelism, it is our privilege to offer our time and talents in service to our local community. We fix our eyes on the example set by Jesus, embracing all people as our brothers and sisters in Christ, and striving to extend unconditional kindness and service to all who are in need. Through various ministries we serve the local community by impacting people because they are also children of God. Luke 4:18-19
Children are the most impressionable people in the community. At Fairfield Adventist Church we are committed to reaching children and equipping families to make life long decisions for Christ. Matthew 19:14
We embrace the great commission of Christ as being personally relevant to each member of the church and prayerfully seek opportunities to invite others into full fellowship of the church. There is a message for the world in these times and it is to be given to all before the return of Jesus Christ. We have taken the Lord's words to “go” at heart. We are committed with a passion to reach the lost people for Jesus and share the passion of Bible truth. Matthew 28:19-20
